One of our most requested services is LED retrofit upgrades, replacing old fluorescent or neon tube lighting inside existing cabinet signs and channel letters with modern LED modules. When a sign's life is over, whether due to business rebranding, building sale, or simple age, we handle professional removal and disposal. Do you service signs you didn't install?
Yes. We service signs regardless of who originally installed them. For wiring and electrical issues on older signs, we'll assess the condition first and give you an honest recommendation. Sometimes repair makes sense; other times replacement is more economical long-term.
What is an LED retrofit and why should I do one?
An LED retrofit replaces old fluorescent or neon lighting inside your existing sign cabinet or channel letters with modern LED modules, without replacing the sign itself. LEDs use 50–70% less energy, last 5–10x longer than fluorescent tubes, and produce more consistent, brighter illumination. For most businesses, the energy savings alone pay for the retrofit within 1–3 years.
My channel letters are flickering on and off. Can you fix that?
Absolutely. Flickering is usually caused by a failing transformer, loose wiring connection, or individual LED modules starting to fail. We can diagnose and repair on-site in most cases. Call us and describe what you're seeing; we can usually give you a rough estimate over the phone.
Can you replace just the face panels on my monument sign?
Yes. Sign face refaces are one of the most cost-effective ways to refresh an existing sign. We fabricate new faces to fit your existing cabinet or monument structure, apply updated graphics, and swap them in. This can give a 10-year-old sign a completely fresh look at a fraction of full replacement cost.
I need my sign removed before my lease ends. What does that involve?
We handle the full removal - electrical disconnection, physical removal of the sign structure, and patching of any wall penetrations or anchoring points. For signs on high-rise facades or requiring lifts, we coordinate the equipment. Timelines vary by sign complexity; contact us as early as possible before your lease end date.
